Making an Appointment
I work mostly during working hours Monday to Friday.
I do also have some evening and weekend appointments available.
I charge £50 per hour for individuals.
£60 per hour for couples. A couple session generally lasts for 1.5 hours per session.

Preliminary Appointment
The purpose of this meeting is for us to get to know each other and to discover whether the way I work is right for you.
Sessions
The length of each session is generally 55 minutes. We may meet weekly, fortnightly or monthly. This is normally agreed between us.
Cancellation
Please give me at least three day’s notice if you are unable to attend a session, so that I can offer the time to someone else. If you give less than this, or forget an appointment, I normally charge full fee.
Punctuality
It is important to try and arrive for a session on time, as we will need to finish at the agreed time. Please make allowances for possible traffic or transport problems.
Record and note keeping
It is a requirement of the pshchology and counselling professions that a record of sessions and contact with you are made and kept. this 'client record' is kept in accordance with the data protection rules principally contained in the Data protection Act 1998.
Professional Supervision
Professional code for counsellors and Psychotherapists require them to be in clinical supervision in order to monitor their standard and quality of work. This means that I need to discuss aspects of my work with a supervisor. If you have any questions about this please feel free to discuss them with me.
Confidentiality
Everything we discuss is completely confidential, within the constraints of the law. There are certain circumstances where confidentiality maybe breached, for example, if there is any likely danger to yourself or anyone else. I would generally discuss this with you first before taking further action. |
